e.l. konigsburg has an amazing style of writing. Surprising, unexpected and over all awesome.

I thought the story was unique and suspenseful, but what teacher would use a noose as a symbol of her 6th grade team?? The teacher from the other school was wrong to joke about being hanged, and Mrs. Olinski was wrong to then use the noose as a symbol of her team's superiority. And then the grandparents have all those t-shirts made with nooses on them! It's really offensive.

The stories blend into one beautifully as though you were reading all of them at once. You almost forget that they are somewhat separate.☺

This book was cool beans! But, it was kind of confusing because it jumps from one character’s perspective to another and then to what’s happening in the real world. So yeah, cool beans but confusing!
