I really loved this book so much! It's a historic fiction book about a girl living in World War II. This book is a sequel to The War That Saved My Life. The War I Finally Won is about two kids that came to live with a woman named Susan when the war started (See first book), and know the war is getting worse and worse- and now Lady Thorton (See first book) has come to live with them! It seems has if things can't get any worse- till a war refugee, Ruth (Whom is a Jew), comes to live them too! This is an exiting book with a strange plot. I entirely recommend it.
It was a pretty good book but had some really sad parts
I liked this book. I was thinking it was a war with soldiers, but it was a war with a physical condition instead. She had a bump on her foot that was painful and she couldn't wear regular shoes or walk well with it. She went to the doctors for treatment and they were finally able to help her after suffering for years. Now she was able to wear socks, shoes and boots and ride her cherished horse which she really liked! Now she could do just about anything!
There was a lot of things going on in the book, and I like how Susan can handle almost any scenario.
This book tells an amazing life lesson. It is an amazing book. You should read it, it will change your whole perspective of life.
