I’ve read the first and second book, they were some of my favorites about World War II. I didn’t really have an interest in reading books about the war at first, but these changed my mind. I recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about World War II.

All I'm going to say is this: It was an amazing book if you like, well anything!

This book takes place in England during WWll. the main character, Ada, has clubfoot and is living with Susan Smith, her kind guardian, who lives in the countryside and takes care of Ada and her brother Jamie during the war. Ada, Jamie, and Susan move into a small cottage with Lady Thornton, a wealthy woman with strong opinions about the war. When a sixteen year-old jewish refugee from Germany moves in with them, Lady Thornton is angry 😡. In this book, Ada learns more about friendship, family, and religion
