This was a great book at really sad in some places.
This book was ok some parts were boring some were really good and exiting
Ever since I read the first book, "The War That Saved my Life" I always wanted to know what was going happen next. This book continued Ada's life story and I was glad I read it. If you haven't read the first book, you should read that too!!
This is a amazing book! I got it because I'd read the 'War that saved my life' and was excited to read the sequel! It Is amazing and reccomend it!
this book is really good but it IS a sequel. It is about Ada in the war after her surgery, and how she gains more confidence in herself and learns to be alright with people who are different than her, like a Jewish refuge from Germany. Ruth, along with Ada, is staying in the house of Lady Thorton. Lady Thorton has lots of horses, and she lets everyone use them except Ruth because she's German. Lots of things happen in the war and in Lady Thorton's house, but through all that, life goes on.
