This is a great read for elementary and junior high aged kids. The way the author wove in appropriate terminology for nature was fantastic. And it took an honest look at prejudice and gave the reader hope of making things just a little better in our own little corners of the world.
It was really good and it had some amazing surprises! The week I got it, I read it twice.
I like Wishtree because it gives me a different perspective about the outdoors. I also like it because it makes me feel alive in a way because it is the story about a tree and it's life. I hope you feel the same way if you read it!
I enjoyed the wish tree it is a really good book the book is written from the trees perspective so it doesn't really explain everything but is a nice read.
so good, and the chapters were quick so you didn't have to wait forever to pause reading. it's funny, cute, and seeing the world from a tree's perspective is quite interesting. near the end of the book, i thought something bad was going to happen to Red (the oak tree), and i was close to getting emotional about it... but then i went from this :( to this :)
