This book made me feel so emotional. For example when bongo wouldn't move and red was about to be cut all of the animals came and gathered on his branches I cried a little.

I really liked this book because I've never read a book from the point of view of a tree. All the characters were kind and funny.

This book is awesome! I love how everybody works together to save Red and get Samar and Stephen to talk to each other. This is AWESOME!!!!

Red is a very cute oak tree and he decides he wants to grant a newcomer's wish. It's very exciting and he risks the chance of being cut down. My favorite part is when he talks to humans, which is a no-no for nature.
