When I ordered this book, I knew it would be one of those books with interesting sounding summaries being the reason I got it. However, the summary isn't good enough for me to actually get to read it. Then, one day I had just gotten back from vacation and I had to do all my break homework in one day, and it was boring, so I picked this book up. Anyway, it turned out to be good, although the fact that all animals and trees can talk is kind of weird. So get this book, because it is pretty good.

This was probably one of my favorite books I've ever read. It was cool to read about a tree's perspective because most books I read are about a person/humans perspective!!

You should read this book if you like adventures, challenges and . . . reading!!!!!!!!!! If you choose it, I hope you like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book made me feel so emotional. For example when bongo wouldn't move and red was about to be cut all of the animals came and gathered on his branches I cried a little.

I really liked this book because I've never read a book from the point of view of a tree. All the characters were kind and funny.
