This book has so many cool twists and turns! The story is told by the tree, Red, who makes many hard decisions, including one that changes the mind of one of her most favorite visitors. Once again, this book is amazing.
I like this book a lot. It's very interesting to see life from the view of a tree and animals in the world. The old oak tree is my favorite.
It was pretty interesting, it was a little boring at times though
The book wasn't very exciting, but still kept me hooked. I loved how the animals were able to talk.
This is a great read for elementary and junior high aged kids. The way the author wove in appropriate terminology for nature was fantastic. And it took an honest look at prejudice and gave the reader hope of making things just a little better in our own little corners of the world.
