Great book

Review by Estherwins

This book takes place half in Canada half in Florida and is about a boy named Norman who wins the doozy dots contest and wins a thousand dollars. I think it's a great book but it is a more beginner chapter book. It is a good book to read when you want to laugh. super competitive older brothers, stuffed alligators, millionaires, ridiculously dressed parents, and airplanes, If you like the sound of that, you will probably like this book a lot.

Best PJ library book ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review by Duckielover

I had serious doubts about this book but its soooooo good! I have read it five times and I still am not tired off it I can’t get enough of it. Also it has funny jokes and very sweet characters the main character is interesting and all the side characters are sweet and funny. I also liked that it took place at a fancy hotel because it made the book easier to picture in your mind I also liked that the author gave such detailed descriptions. I highly recommend this book to everyone living on planet earth!

Interesting book!

Review by Thereal556

I think this book is interesting because the main character (Norman) won a contest and shared the prize money with his family, taking them on a vacation to Florida. I think that it was nice of him although the title of the book doesn’t go with the main idea because no characters died but the Fishbean Family thought Mort Ziff was dead so the title kind of goes with the book. Norman and his two brothers made friends with three sibling girls while on vacation in Miami. They met in the pool. At first they were bossy to each other then they became friends later in the book and they worked together to help get Mort Ziffs comedian job back at the hotel.

Strange book...

Review by panda2017

I liked this book (ish) however it was pretty unrealistic, therefore hard to relate to the main character. I would recommend it.
