It was funny, touching, and it taught me about World War 2

There were a few parts where I couldn't put it down, but other times were not the best. You get to see what it's like to be Joel, his family and his friends. You can relate it to your everyday life, but it wasn't the best book from PJ Our Way.

This book was pretty cool, not totally but cool, yeah. I LOVE books, but this book was just OK. But I really like how the author spells so many different ways of Hanukkah (Chanukah or however you want to spell it!). So yeah, a cool beans book!

It was a really great book! The book is really well written and the characters seem real.

I liked the part where he asked the teacher to pray for gold but he wasn't finished and the teacher cuts him mid sentence and goes "Gold?!!?? that's useless to pray to g*d for gold!!!!!"
