This book is sad but is still really good! It teaches you a little about tradition. I would recommend this book for a 10 year old or up. But overall, it is a great book!!! I recommend it.

This book made me thankful for what I have. I learned many lessons from this book: 1 - never give up and stop trying, even if it seems like nothing will get better, 2 - be thankful for what you have because anything can happen, and 3 - when it seems like all is lost, have hope. This book is very inspirational and touching. This book is for anyone who is going through hard things. After what i have said, i hope you read this book!

this is the worlds best book ever! I lived in Germany for a year and can relate to ruth about how it felt to be new and not speak the language. I will bring this book to sleep away camp forever
