I liked how Ruth and her friends shared food from different cultures with each other. I liked how she made good friends very easily. Her healing process took a long time with a little help from her friends and family.

This book is so awesome! I enjoy things that are slightly gory or gross, so this book really captivated me. My best friend really wants to read it, and I think she'll really like it. This book really showed me how much of our lives we take for granted. It also showed me that a person doesn't have to be able to fly to be awesome! Ruth has captured my heart, simply by lying in bed for ten months. This book is so great!!:)
