The Bicycle Spy takes place during the 1940's and before World War II. In France, Marcel rides his bike every day, and hopes to be in the Tour de France. When soldiers turn up everywhere, however, the race is canceled. After he discovers two secrets that place his, and his friends' family's lives in danger, he rides through the cold, all night, to deliver a message that almost gets him caught. After finding out that his friends and family's lives are relying on him, he has to pedal fast and think quickly. Overall, the Bicycle Spy, in my opinion, was good, but I didn't really relate. It didn't spark my interest; for example, I don't care for biking or racing. If you do, I recommend The Bicycle Spy. If you want to learn a little about what the Nazis did and also read about cycling, and being brave, I would say this would be a fun read for you.
no bad book
A very interesting book LOVED it.
Pretty good, a bit of a cliffhanger, though anyone who likes biking will enjoy it.
Really good if you want to learn about how the Holocaust affected France and how France affected the Holocaust, but there is a bit of a cliffhanger at the end.
