You can't get attached to it very easily.

It's an ok book.

The story of a girl named Marla trying to figure out what religion means to herself. She changes herself and her family with her discovery. An enjoyable read!

For me the title is misleading. The main character doesn’t save Hanukkah, she doesn’t really know what it is. To me she is not a very likeable character. But it was an interesting book if you enjoy reading about someone trying to connect to a Jewish holiday.

An interesting read. Made me aware how Jewish families live where community is spread out and your friends and neighbors celebrate Christmas.
