This book was so good! I loved it so much that i got the next book in the series. I am Jewish and lived in Israel (now I live in America). This book made me think of what it would be like to be in a situation like that. I also read another book by this author.

The main character, Anna, was very sweet. She thought alot about how she could help her family with shortages during WW1. I'd definitely recommend this and also I'd definitely read more books by Yona Zeldis McDonough.

I think this book is great! It's about a girl named Anna who's parents own a doll shop in the downstairs part of their apartment. Then comes World War 1 and they can't get the doll parts for supplies. I think you should read it!
