The Doll Shop Downstairs is a great book. It's about a girl named Anna and her two sisters Sophie and Trudie. They lived on top of a doll shop thier father owned. It a really good book. I read it more than five times!!!☺

This book was fun to read, but there wasn't a lot of emotion for me when I was reading it. I think you shouldn't pick this book, even though it's not very bad. It just had a strong lack of interest. I did like it when she got to sleep on the roof though. This would be a perfect book for a read aloud for a 2nd grade class who were going through a war unit. Thanks for reading this review!
