I loved A doll shop downstairs! No matter how many times I read it I never got bored of it. I think showing the perspective from a lonely doll shop was a great idea because it just shows how even small businesses matter. Another thing I loved were the girls, there attitude and creativity. Overall it was a great book, and if you were looking for a good book to read.. well I think you have found it!

I really enjoyed this book because it was like going back in time to World War 1. I would recommend this book to kids that like american girl books, but even if you don´t like the american girl books you should get this book and if you like it, great news it´s a book series of 2! Great book! It’s not a very boring book that has no pictures, but instead, a book with pictures!
