I really enjoyed reading this book. Actually, my mom read it to me each night before bed and I couldn't wait to hear each new chapter. The characters are realistic and the story is believable. I'd like to read more books by this author.

This book made me think about how important it is to fight against prejudice and to be your own person. I love how Rivka bonds with the horses and how she gets to ride them every day.
