This book was insightful to another person's life. The book went so fast that it made me think my bat mitzvah was also that soon- it is soon, just not as soon.

I LOVED My Basmati Bat Mitzvah. It was my favorite book that I've picked! I loved reading about all the struggles Tara went through, from friends, and a cultural object incident. She had to overcome them and that's what I loved. For her Bat Mitzvah, she wanted to have something special. I just couldn't put this book down. I would totally recommend this to any person!

I learned a lot from this book. but what I do not get is that this girls friend stole but then the girl that did not steal tried to do the right thing but then the girl and her friend where not allowed to go to this store until they where 18, I think that since this girl did not steal but was doing the right thing should be able to still go to this store. but since I learned stuff from this book then I am glad that I chose this book.
