Interesting book about friendships

I love this book so much. It's one of my 3 favorite pjourways. Let me tell you a little bit about the book; It's in first person of a 13 year old boy, who is struggling with feelings for a certain girl. He also has trouble deciding if he should be popular, or stick to his best friend. Then, He has to survive life with two dueling grandmothers of different religions and the possibility of a nuclear war. Read this book, if you want to enjoy life.

I love this book. It was very different from the usual kids' books. I loved the subject and couldn't stop reading it.

I really liked how Hector had the courage to tell Scott that he deserved a spot in the bunker. It made me think about proving somebody wrong. If I were Hector, I would do the same thing.

I thought that this book was dull and didn't really have much to it.
