This book was very interesting on the matter of family, showing that even if the sides of your family are different, they can still connect. David's opinion on things was very funny. I learned more about the Cold War, more about Chinese culture, and lots of random trivia, too.

David has his bar mitzvah coming up, and he has two grandmothers in the house: Chinese and Jewish! They are both arguing about how to do his bar mitzvah right. Super funny parts, with a tiny little dog whose doo doo doesn't REALLY get picked up.😊
