This book was awesome because it had very funny parts. It also reminds me not to care about being popular. The story kept me wanting to read more and more. I think that this story teaches about real stuff in life.

The book had surprising twists and kept me interested until the end. Also, my parents were the same age as David in the book...so it was fun to learn that they were doing the same stuff at the same time!

I loved it. It is about a Chinese-Jewish boy who struggles through the Cold War, school, a girl he likes, and a fight at his house between two religions
