At first, I was unsure about this book. I thought it might be stupid or petty. But, it turns out, I couldn't get my eyes off this book! Mirka wonderful hero in the story, (though not such a good role model). She faces her fears in nail biting, troll fighting adventure that will keep you interest until the very end! My only critique is the book seemed to be a bit short, since it was a graphic novel. I would recommend to ANYONE of any age. Happy reading!
I loved this book and i couldn't put it down!! Perfect if you like books about magic and like to read graphic novels. One of the best books that i have read from PJ our way!!
This book was super entertaining! Also super funny! When it came in the mail, I picked it up, collapsed on the couch, and didn't get up until I had read the whole book. So good I still reread it all the time.
I think that this book was very good and had just the right amount of weird.
I liked this book very much. The reason why I liked this book so much is because of the way Mirka lives. There also is another reason which is that there is a talking pig that kept stealing Mirka’s homework which was funny. I would recommend this book to others. The reason for that is because it’s a graphic novel. Also, Hereville is funny and is filled with challenges that Mirka must overcome. If you like fantasies you will like this book. This book is a fantasy because it has a talking pig, a witch, and a troll in it. In this book I learned that Thursdays and Friday afternoons are a lot of work preparing for Shabbat. Part of the reason for this is because Mirka is an Orthodox Jewish girl. Also, the book says ‘’Preparing for all that not working takes a lot of work.’’ This is said because Fridays evening is the beginning of Shabbos, a Jewish holiday which you’re not suppose to work on. This book is a Jewish book because Mirka and everybody in Hereville are Jewish except for the witch. Overall the book was very good and I’m sure you’ll love it.
