Hi guys another review from your FAVEorite person!( JK : just kidding!)Anyways, so like this book is about boys( whatever)annoying mothers (uhhhhh……😶) and writing to a little old lady about EVERYTHING……. ( I mean who does that?? ) But guess what, even after all that I will say one thing………………………………… ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I’VE EVER READ!! ( But the ending kind of leaves you hanging, which is why I gave it 4 stars!!)

A Jewish girl deals with growing up and moving and relating to her stepfather. She misses her father who was killed in the war. Written in the form of a diary written to her elderly neighbor in her old house. In her diary she gives examples of her "annoying bossy mother". 12 year old girl is very into wearing lipstick and often sneaks it from her mother's drawer. Worries that everyone in school will have a boyfriend besides her. A lot of juvenile boy/girl. Girl is embarrassed when she goes swimming because she doesn't want anyone to see her "development". GIrl can't wait to be 14 and get love letters from boys to hide under her pillow. Can't wait to dance with boys at Valentine's party- all her friends do, etc.

This book is super fun and funny to read. You really should read this!

If you have siblings, or just enjoy a good laugh this is the book for you! There is one big sad part, and Katie gets into a little bit of trouble and embarrassment, but other than that it has a happy ending.
