Judy Blume is an author who wrote for children. She faced many challenges though. It was hard to find an editor because she was a woman and she not only had to stand up for women, but she had to stand up for kids and books. Her books could really happen and they are from the perspective of a kid that could truly be real. Judy Blume was very famous for a short while and then kids started to be banned from reading her books. This book covers all that information but it just doesn't really absorb you into it. It does have some creativity but I don't think enough. If I had written this book I would have added less facts and more silly or creative parts. I would make these parts true though. I would also try to blend in the facts not just state them. So therefore, this book wasn't the best but I learned a lot from it.
When I chose this book it looked more interesting than the other choices, so I picked it. When I read the book, it was fantastic! I loved how there was a perfect amount of pictures and words, and it also had good language. Plus, I learned a lot about Judy Blume!
Whoa a girl who broke the rules did a pretty good job.
The book taught me about Judy. This book was not challenging enough for me. (My brother is seven and read it in a night)
The story taught me that life can take some bad turns in other words, life does't aways go as you suspect.😐
