It is a great book because it is very sad but it tells a lot of cool facts about the Six-Day War. The message is strongly told as never give up because Israel did not give up at all throughout the war.

I love history and this book really hits the spot. I hope there are more books like these!

Good book maybe for younger kids but good

Good book. Not 100% historically accurate. Though the plot was interesting, I would not say it was a page-turner. Helps to know some basic information about Israel, but you don't need to know anything about the Six-Day War. I would say the reading level is ~3rd grade and the subject/content is maybe ~4th/5th grade. Overall, a good uplifting historical fiction novel (although I would preferred less fiction and more history).
