A great book! At the beginning I thought there would be more fighting. There is more war prep and shelters, but the boy only experiences a little bit of war violence. Still if you are looking for an on the battlefield book this is still great book, IT SEEMS LIKE IT WOULD BE WORSE WITH FIGHTING !!!!!!!!!

The book was very good, and I had to cry in the end ( wich normally never happens ).

Although a little slow at the beginning, this book is pretty good. Motti is a 12 year old boy living in Israel during the 6 day war. With surprising plot twists, and lots of great information, this book is not bad at all!

I really like this book. It shows how children can do amazing things. The ending is a little sad, but it is still a great book.
