I liked this book because it has a lot of riddles and fun jokes.
This is - so far- one of my favorite books. The book compiles a lot of diverse Jewish folk tales and legends. I knew a lot of them, but there were also quite a few that were new for me. Some of them were told slightly differently than the version I'd heard, but there were also similarly told stories. Another thing that I liked about the book was that it had stories from a lot of different time periods. So, you got a lot of different types. If you disliked one, there was sure to be another one that you enjoyed more.
i LOVED TRYING TO SOLVE THE PUZZLES BEFORE I READ WHAT CHARACTERS REALLY DID. LOL... EATING THE PAPER ONE WAS GREAT.
This book was a fun and easy read for me; I enjoyed reading it. This book has 17 Jewish wisdom tales taking place around the world from the 10th century BCE to the 1930s. In these stories, people need to think fast in hard situations. One of the reasons that it was fun is that in each story, the book gives you a chance to think about what you would have done if you were in the situation. Then, it tells you what the person in the story did. This book taught me more about the hard things that Jews had to do a long time ago.
