At first I didn't really want to read this book, but I was hooked after the first chapter. It's a good reminder why real friendships in your life are way more important that strangers on social media. You should read this book.
I like this book because it makes me think of myself a little, and because she learns lessons. Overall, I would definitely choose this book!
I love love love love love love love love love love love love love love the book. It was amazing. I happened to have done a speech on why TV and video games are bad for you. I did the speech in school for my persuasive speech. I feel like the book really supports some of my reasons stated in the speech I wrote. My reasons were that TV and video games are addictive, bad for your health and distract people from doing important things. I really think Karma Cooper is the perfect example of someone who is on the phone way too much. I think it is a good example for kids like me to know what some of the not so great things that can happen when you are on the TV, playing video games or on a screen of any kind.
The middle was annoying. but I loved the ending. (a character sprains her ankle! I felt like I shood note)
This book wasn't bad. It wasn't great, either, but it was a fine read. It follows 7th grade Karma Cooper as she navigates being the popular kid... but without her precious phone, Floyd.
