The book was just OK. It was based on the importance of friendship. It has a sad ending, but a happy ending at the same time.
This book made me think about families, friendship problems and more. I loved it! I loved it because instead of just one thing going on there were a lot of interesting things happening.
This book was really nice to read about because it's nice to hear that if you have one really good friend they could change the negative thoughts that the other friend think of themselves. For example, before Liat moved in next door, Roxanne thought is was bad to be Israeli and better to be American. Roxanne wasn't even her real name - it was her American name. When she met Liat, Liat showed her how important it was to embrace her Israeli roots and she could be proud to be both Israeli and American.
This book is awesome. it made me think about friendship. I would recommend this book for age's 1-12 and for kids that like books with action and drama.☺😁
