This book was boring, slow, and hard to understand. I could not recommend this book😵

I enjoyed "The Importance of Wings", it was humorous and interesting, but not my favorite book in the world. The plot was not exactly what I expected, it was a lot about the "cursed house" next door, and embracing your Jewish identity. One of the main character is kind of self-centered and dramatic, while the other is excessively "strong", with a sort of stereotypical weakness. Some parts are worth reading, including the tidy, but not "happily ever after" ending. Get it if you like books about embracing who you are and don't mind slow bits and prominent morals. If you can't handle that and have a tendency to dislike characters you may want to skip this one.

I loved this book! It was one of my faves

I loved this book! I think that this book has a good lesson. It teaches you that it's okay to be different, and being from a different culture isn't bad. Over the course of the book, the main character, Roxanne, learns to be proud of her ethnicity, and who she is. I hope that you get this book!

This book teaches me how important having family around you is.
