This book was very good. Exciting, engaging, all that. I couldet put it down. Finished in one day. Did feel like there was more to the story and was kind of incomplete. Also, i think that saying hammy is trying to break David's heart is inaccurate, because he can't will what happens to him. Also, i think it is cool that David got to meet someone from his dad's review (sophies mom is the person who is afraid to stop homeschooling their kid in the letter in the start of the book)

How To survive middle school is a great book about a boy called David Greenberg. David has a YouTube channel called Talktime. He always makes talktime videos with his best friend Elliot to pass the time. But when Elliot starts to get girl obsessed, he doesn't know what to do. This book left me speechless! David is so funny and his hamster is ssssooooooooooooooo cute!! I highly recommend this book!! If you are a realistic fiction reader. then this book is for you! David Greenberg loves YouTube. He spends almost all of his free time making talktime videos. When him and his best friend Elliot have a fight, David makes a new best friend, Sophie. When David shares his videos with her, she starts sending them to her friends, who share them with their friends, and then David has a ton of people viewing his videos, even people he least would have expected. Plus, he has a pet hamster who his name is hammy, David thinks Hammy is the greatest hamster in the world but actually, Hammy intends to ruin David's life.

I liked Hammy, his hamster. He was so cute! I'd like to make funny videos someday. I give this MORE THAN 100% recommendation!!!!! Choose this book if you are confused on which book you should choose.
