It was a GREAT and funny book at the end it was a little sad but their was a happy ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It taught me that family, friends, and love is more important than anything else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It also shows how to get through problems and still have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was a great story I totally recommend it for somebody 8+older.

Some parts were a little scary but otherwise it was awesome.

More all of a kind family is amazing and once you have read this you will totally want to read more books by Sydney Taylor :)

in this book there are many separate stories that are all connected and really interesting! the entire time I read this book I practically couldn't put it down! I really, really, REALLY recommend this book.

This book is about a family with five girls, Ella, Henny, Sarah, Charlotte, Gertie and their little brother, Charlie. The girls were watching carriages go by when Charlie ran across the street and the carriages almost rode over him! Luckily, a woman named Lena saved Charlie and almost got hit by the carriage herself! Then, she came home with the girls and met their Uncle Hyman. Lena and their Uncle Hyman fell in love and planned a wedding. But then Lena had to go to the hospital and said that she wouldn't marry their Uncle Hyman.
