Fivel lives in Poland with his mother and siblings. Then one day his father sends them money and they go to America. You' ll have to read the book to know what happens next. I recommend this book to people who like stories of immigration.
This was a very good book. I learned so much about the hard and scary times Jews had to go through in those days in Poland. I can't even imagine having to endure the hunger and hardships they had.
Bridge to America was an amazing book. It had lots of action and you never want to put the book down.
My ancestors were also European. This book reminded me about their hard times too. This book was one of the best books I ever read! I have read other books like it, but none of them were like this! Fivel, the hero of the story, lived in Poland with his brother, sisters, and his mother. He and his family were waiting to get money sent from their father. Their father left their family to find a job in America and send for his family. This book has exciting adventures, amazing characters, and the importance of family. Their are more exciting journeys waiting for you to read about!!! Go ahead and and read Bridge To America!
