Lily Renee Escape Artist is sad but really good. A really talented artist's life becomes really hard because Nazis are attacking her city. I would recommend this book to people who can handle thinking about the sadness of the book.

This book reminded me of my Nana who is an Auschwitz survivor and her experiences growing up. I liked that Lily was so brave. This is a fun read!

It made me think about all the hard times Jews faced. They couldn't do many things. Lily wasn't treated well, but she found a job was able to keep her family. I loved how she was able to face a ton of hard things on her journey.

Lily Renee is a real person who lived during the Holocaust and survived. She became a famous comic book artist. The story tells about her adventures from when she was younger. I love this book because the pictures are really interesting and it helped me learn more about what it would have been like to have been a girl during the Holocaust.
