This book was one of the best sports books I have ever read! I loved reading the part about how Jason had some Saturday baseball games and his team and Coach really needed him. But it was Shabbat, and his stepfather didn't allow him to play baseball on Shabbat. I liked the part where Jason had to lie about visiting his Grandfather and going to the Synnagouge event.
I liked this book, even though I was nervous about him getting in trouble for lying like crazy.
This book was a good read. It taught me several things, such as, compromising, listening to what everyone has to say, and how to explain your feelings. It only took me a few days of about a half hour to 45 minutes of reading a day to finish this. I recommend this book to all ages. Good job, Mrs. Miriam Rinn! I would like to hear more!!
This book made me think more about the importance of family. In my opinion that Jason kid was really annoying all his stepfather wanted to do was connect with him and he refused to. You should read this but it is really honestly kind of weird
