In this book, Felix, who is 80 years old, and his granddaughter Zelda, live in Australia. Zelda is named after Felix’s best friend. Felix lives through the Holocaust and is now trying to be the best person he can be.
This book started out really sweet when Zelda tried to cheer up her grandpa Felix, but then it got sad and she had to be brave like the Zelda she was named after. I loved it, it made me want to smile and cry at the same time.
I loved this. I want to read the other 2 in the series.
After this book I bought the five books before it and read them too.
It started out very sweet but was very sad in the end.
