😡 When I read the first chapter I thought it was fine but the next few chapTers It really BAD
This was a very good read. It described loyalty to other people, and family.
In "All Star Season" Reuven and his little brother Avi are on the same baseball team. They both really want it to make it to the All Star Game but only one person can be selected for All Stars from a team. There are many obstacles. Steve is a great batter, Reuven and Avi cannot show off their skills on Shabbat, and even worse, Reuven injures his arm throwing a curve ball that he was not supposed to be throwing. The book is in Reuven's perspective. I can relate a lot to this book. I love baseball and I have a little brother. Reuven always gets embarrassed when his little brother can do something that he can't. In the end, Avi makes it to the All Star Game and really is an All Star. He hit and fielded extremely well. He also was needed to pitch the last inning. He got the first two outs by himself. Afterward, he faced a very good batter. Reuven was worried. As an All Star Game coach, he would have to make sure that Avi got that batter out however embarrassing it was. Avi pitched the ball. Strike 1! Strike 2! This can't be good, Reuven thought. Reuven looked in his journal of every player in the league and saw this guy's weakness. Reuven called a time out and told Avi to throw low. Sure enough, it worked. Avi's team won! I loved this book until the very end when Avi made it to All Stars and not Reuven. If I were to change the ending, I would change it to this. The coach calls Reuven and Avi's family and says they are both in the All Star Game because one of the other teams had no good players. Overall, this book was awesome!
It’s about two brothers who both want to be best at baseball. They want to get good grades in school too and they have to decide if they should go against each other or help each other. You will have to read the book to find out what they do.
Great story and exciting at the end
