I liked how one of the characters was trying to take over the world because it gave an interesting twist to the story. It also educated me on different Jewish foods I haven't been introduced to before.

This is a great book and since I recently just went to Ellis Island it is kind of cool to see other peoples point of view. I think that anyone between 9-12 would love this book as long as they like history, adventure and how maybe their ancestors came to America.
