This book had lots of adventure and was very interesting. It is fantasy, but it takes place in America in historical times. It's about the Kapustin family, who come to America, only to find that it is not as they expected. Many bad things happen to them, but they make it through.
a nice book, but with advance vocab.
The aspect is funny, the book is both serious and silly, and the location and gangs make it seem almost real. But you need to ask yourself two things. One, is the dragon really necessary? It was mostly a plot developer, and comic relief. Two, why pool? Why do they play pool and not, say, skee-ball or bowling?
I liked how they made it seem real but it had some parts that were obviously fictional. also they always made jokes in series times and just when they were just talking
