This book was a beyond luck choice. A kid, Ari Fish , struggles with a friend ( a.k.a Mac) and wonders if he is truly a good friend. He searches for a lucky card and gets it one day, hoping it will give him luck for his soccer team, but can he do good without the card? He has a crush named Parker, who, by the way is the only girl on his soccer team. I enjoyed this intriguing book, and I know you will too. I recommend this book for ages 10+.

I love this book because it mixes soccer with Judaism.

This very lucky story is action packed, has twists and turns and so far Ari Fish is doing a great job as goalie. Later he finds a very rare soccer card but then loses the very rare Wayne Timcoe card. This book made me think about being lucky and loyalty in friendship.You have to be a good friend to keep a good friendship. I also learned that you do not have to have a lucky card to be lucky. Also luck can also depend on our actions for instance if you are mean to someone later on you might get bad luck but bad actions or good actions can lead to good or bad luck.
