This book is the kind of book that you can read lots of times and it never gets boring. In the girl's town, there seemed to be a lot of anti-semitism, and that part of the story I really liked. It was a really good book.😜😜😜😜😜

I loved how it was a book of poems that told a story. When I started reading this book, the format of it(the poems), it reminded me of Out Of The Dust by Karen Hesse.I loved how the plot had the good, the bad, AND the funny! Anyways, I loved this book and recommend it to anybody who loves heartwarming stories!

This amazing book is the story of Edith, a girl who has eleven siblings. She lives in Baltimore, in the time of the Great Depression. This book is told through poetry that Edith wrote. I would recommend this anyone who likes historical fiction.
