100% recommend this book. Looking For Me is written in verse, so it is a quick read, but it is SO WORTH IT! Edith’s struggles and joys are relatable, even though she is living in a different time. This book is beautifully written, and I loved it.
This book was based on the true life of Edith growing up as a middle child in her large family with many siblings. I really loved this book because it's about a girl, but there was one sad part when the girl's little brother died. This book is written in a diary entry style with some poetry. There is a glossary in the back to define tricky words. There are also real photos at the end of Edith and her family.
It's history and family in one book! Definitely my favorite PJ Book!
I loved this book!! With this book you either love or hate it. If you think you’ll like it, read it! If you don’t then don’t.
I read "Looking for Me" twice in the same morning because I liked it so much. I liked this book because it made me laugh and cry. Not many books can make you feel both of those emotions. I would recommend this book even to people that don't like poetry. I gave the book to my older sister and she even liked it too.
