a good book but a little scary
I liked this book because it had a lot of magic and stuff about being Jewish. I also liked the crime solving and the mysteries. It was a fun book. I though it was a little hard to read for me because I think really for older kids. The Hebrew and Yiddish mixed in with the English made it harder to read. The sentences were really long too. It took me a while to get into it, but once I got into it I couldn't put it down. If it is a little hard for you to start with, stick with it. It is worth it.
My fave part was when Sacha and the girls summon the dybbuk. It was kind of scary at first but then it was cool. I really suggest that you read this book :)
Too much Jewish. Besides that, its pretty cool. It talks about the Kalibists and magical crime. Its like 1900 New York and Harry Potter were put into one. Age: 10+ Type: Jewish Harry Potter
This book had some exciting parts and some boring parts. It also can get confusing at the end
