The book was about a kid who became an apprentice to an investigator and goes to magic places with him to investigate magic crimes. This book was so boring that I could not even finish it. Each place he went had so many details that the story plot never moved forward. It is the only time I did not finish a book. I don't understand why some people compare this to Harry Potter. The only similarity is that there is magic. I would not suggest this book.

I loved the plot of The Inquisitor's Apprentice.
