I HATED IT!!! This book was SO confusing and i just could not understand anything. very weird to. DO NOT READ THIS BOOK! WORST BOOK EVER!! Wouldn't even call it a book, just random words that don't even make sense.

awesome and amazing

Harry Potter is exiting, funny, and inspiring. This book is boring and dull. Where is the similarity? I read this book once, and I don't plan to read it again. I do love a good fantasy, but this book let me down. Also-not very funny. And I love humor! If you are okay with the lack of comedy, you may like The Inquisitor's Apprentice.

This book was OK.

The book was about a kid who became an apprentice to an investigator and goes to magic places with him to investigate magic crimes. This book was so boring that I could not even finish it. Each place he went had so many details that the story plot never moved forward. It is the only time I did not finish a book. I don't understand why some people compare this to Harry Potter. The only similarity is that there is magic. I would not suggest this book.
