Oh and I just remembered that when Sonia did that russian jump thing at practices and she showed Jess that she was good,I actually mentally said,”There Jess how do you like that for cheerleading?!”
It was so funny, sad, and a little romantic! Strangely my favorite part was when they played SPIN-THE-BOTTLE… its strange because I don’t normally like those kinds of parts! But then describing his potato chip lips was seriously gross!😕
good perspective for middle schoolers or any age dives in to peer pressure and shows you how values are very important
This book is about a 11 year old girl named Sonia who's dad loses his job. Because he lost his job, she has to go to a new school to make new friends. Sonia is Half Indian and Half Jewish so her classmates will ask her questions that she can't answer. But one day, Sonia's dad goes missing so she must find her true friends and see what it's like to be Indian and Jewish. I would recommend this book to a friend.
