I CAN’T STAND THIS BOOK. DISAPPOINTINGLY DISAPPOINTING.
I really liked this book, but I felt that the dialogue between the teenagers was inappropriate at times; specifically some bad words and hand gestures were used and kids were mean to each other which might be realistic in how some kids communicate but didn’t do anything to progress or improve the story. That being said, I learned about Jewish mysticism, and while I don’t necessarily believe in ghosts, I enjoyed their presence in the story. If I could be any character in the story, I would be one of the ghosts. I won’t say which one in case you haven’t read it yet. The author’ s descriptions made me feel like I was there experiencing what the characters experienced.. I recommend it.
this book has a great start and only leads to more fun exciting stops on dahlia's new adventure.
This book wasn't scary or funny. It was kind of confusing and it moved at such a high pace that I found myself going, "wait, what?" I'm being really critical but i couldn't put it down. You got to give it to the author, because I read it in one day. I wanted to see what happened, even if the story was really confusing and sort of strange. So maybe worth reading depending on you.
It was kind of interesting, but a little bit scary and hard to follow. Over all I think that this book is okay.
