I couldn't put this book down! I am amazed at how this book is a true story. It was truly mind-blowing.

This book was bittersweet. Rifka gets separated from her family, because she gets ringworm, and can't go to America when her family does. This book is bittersweet, because even though Rifka gets separated from her family, she's very brave.

letters from rifka is a great book because it taut me what it was like to leave not only your home behind but all your stuff and how she made it through a year with out her family just strangers and some friends

Rifkas letters are so sad, but very detailrich, and the book itself is very good and has lots of interesting, sad and happy moments.
