This isn't the first book I've read by this author, and so far I'm very impressed! Usually, before I go to bed, I read until I get tired. A couple of nights ago, I picked up this book and couldn't put it down. I read one more chapter, one more chapter, until finally, I finished the entire book, first to last page, in one night! It was probably one of the best books I've ever read.
I liked how it was about a girl who moves from Russia to USA, and how she survives with luck.
I loved the book, Letters From Rifka. I loved this book because it made me think more about the importance of family. The book is about a girl named Rifka and she needs to go to America with her family but she has to stay back. Rifka starts writing about her adventures all around Poland and Russia. I learned to be thankful for your life because one minute you might have it and the next minute you might not. I also learned to be thankful of the people that love you and are around you because they might not always be there for you. Rifka is a passionate, brave, spirited young women. she meets hardships and loses people she loves, but it is all worth it in the end
